My wife chatted me a few minutes ago and asked if I was going to “lose my chip”. Â It’s a joke regarding my recent commitment to posting something new every day on my site. The reference is of course AA and how you get a chip each week or month that you stay dry. Â I admit that in the past I’ve struggled keeping up with things like this. But I’m on my 5th week and this past month has been good for me. I use the calendar (scroll down on the sidebar to the right) as a way of seeing my progress. Â The text is green for each day that I’ve posted.
One could argue that a post about posting is not a valid post. But it is. If you don’t believe me just scroll down and see that November 19th is in fact green. However, I really don’t want to cheat so I’ll also use this as a forum to list off some excuses preview of upcoming posts…
- I had originally planned to post on the NXE (New Xbox Experience) but when I logged in at 12:30 last night the update wasn’t available yet. Today someone told me that it came online at 2am last night. Assuming that it’s available now I will download it and give it a test, try to avoid getting sucked into Gears 2, and post my first impressions – maybe even later tonight. I honestly expected everyone and their mother’s website to be talking about NXE today but it’s been somewhat quiet.
- My backup plan was to talk about this trademark that I filed a while ago. I SWEAR that I had it scanned in and ready to go, but I can’t find it and don’t have the original paper doc with me today. So that one’s got to wait until later.
- I DO have some other cool old things scanned in but sort of wanted to have some other media to go with them. I know that’s a little bit vague, but hey, I don’t want to give it away. Â But anyway, that’s gotta wait until I find “the media”.
- I will be reviewing some iPhone apps. A buddy submitted one to the app store today, and of course I’m working on one that should be ready soon as well. Â But those need to wait until they’re actually available on the app store.
I re-read "Jerry Seinfelg's Productivity Secret" today and it reminded me of your post here.
